Welcome to 4th grade!
I am Dawn Knipper a fourth grade teacher at Dyersville Elementary. I am originally from the small town of Bankston. I attended grade school at Seton and graduated from Western Dubuque High School. I earned my bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a reading endorsement at Loras College and my master’s degree in reading and literacy through Walden University. I began teaching for Western Dubuque in 2005, at Peosta Elementary. There I taught fourth grade for six years. When Dyersville Elementary opened in 2011, I moved to fourth grade here.
I currently reside in rural Earlville with my husband, Luke and sons, Blake and Trent. I especially enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Other hobbies I have are reading, watching movies, running, and shopping.
