Other Information:
Ms. Hoerner was raised on a dairy farm in rural Galena, IL and graduated from Galena High School. She went on to receive her bachelor's degree in English and a teaching certificate for grades 5-12 from Wartburg College. While at Wartburg, Ms. Hoerner also completed for 4 years on the softball team for the Knights. Before coming to Drexler Middle School, she taught 9th and 12th grade English at Wapello High School. In addition to her teaching duties, Ms. Hoerner enjoys coaching 8th grade volleyball and assists varsity softball for Western Dubuque. Ms. Hoerner and her husband Tyler are currently expecting their first child.
