Experience:
After graduating from Loras College, I began teaching at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. I had a great 3 years of teaching in a behavioral disorder classroom at Thomas Jefferson. However, a position became available at Cascade Jr./Sr. High School and I've been teaching here since the fall of 2006. During my time at Cascade, I've taught special education classes from seventh through twelfth grade. I have also co-taught in the Junior High Language Arts classrooms and in the Junior High Math classrooms. This has given me even more of an opportunity to assist students within my own classrooms. The past two years I've began teaching vocational education courses, Vocational Education I & II. I look forward in getting to know each and every student that I teach.
Other Information:
I have been married, going on 9 years to my wife Katie and together we have three wonderful children. Tate is 6 years old, Brielle is 4, and Tayden will be 2 in February. Along with teaching at Cascade, I currently coach junior high football and am the head wrestling coach. If I'm not at school teaching or coaching, you will likely find me spending time with my family or enjoying what the outdoors has to offer at that time of year. I enjoy fishing, camping during the summer, bow hunting in the fall, and deer hunting during the winter. Stop by and talk fishing or hunting, I'd be more than happy to share stories and/or ideas with you.
