-The program is on Tuesday, March 28th at Western Dubuque High School in the Auditorium.

-Pre-K and TK students perform at 6:000pm, Grades K-2 perform at 6:30 and Grades 3-5 perform at 7:00.  Parents are not expected to attend every performance but are welcome to each.

-Pre-K and TK students are to report to the choir room inside of the arts wing (directly to the left when you enter the high school by the activities entrance) at 5:45PM.  Grades K-2 are to report to the North gym (directly to the right when you enter the high school by the activities entrance)  at 6:20PM and Grades 3-5 are to report to the North gym at 6:50PM.  There will be large signs with teachers' names for you to find your class.

-Costume descriptions for Grades K-2 and Grades 3-5 have been sent home and are included below.   Parents of students in grades K-2 with speaking parts were e-mailed separate costume descriptions.

All students in Grades Pre-K-5 are invited to dress up in nice clothing for the Spring Program. You may choose to wear something like school picture day. The stage does get warm during the performance, so think about wearing anything that is light and breathable. The theme of the Grade 3-5 program is food, so any clothing with a food print is welcome but not necessary. The theme of the Grade K-2 program is lemonade, so any clothing with a summer or fruit print is also welcome but not necessary. Pre-K and TK students are encouraged to "dress their best!"

Go Gold for the Change!

Families, caregivers, charities, and research groups across the United States observe September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.   On Tuesday, September 27th, Peosta Elementary will dedicate the day to honor those little fighters by inviting students and staff to wear Gold or Yellow to school. Each classroom will have a container to collect spare change. All money donated will be given to Special Spaces of Dubuque. Last year, the school was a sea of yellow/gold and we collected almost $2000.

Special Spaces Iowa creates dream bedroom makeovers for dependent children ages 2-19 with cancer who are within one year of treatment. Our goal is to provide them a safe place to recover, heal, sleep, and even play. A very special space just to be a kid!

Special Spaces has a special place in our hearts. Children from Western Dubuque have benefitted from this amazing organization. Ann Decker, the Director of the Dubuque Chapter, does a wonderful job of creating an incredible space for our children that reflects their individual personalities. Many of her volunteer helpers are from Peosta!

We can't wait to see Peosta Elementary

GO GOLD FOR THE CHANGE

On Tuesday, September 27th!

Thank you for your continued support of Peosta Elementary, PEP and Special Spaces!
