Congratulations to the Individual Events Speech Team on their excellent performances at the IHSSA State IE Contest on Saturday, March 11th at Waldorf College. Of the 12 performances, the 10 participants earned 9 I ratings. Those earning I ratings are: Liam Curoe – Improvisation, Gavin Foust-Wollenberg – Poetry Interpretation, Chloe Geerts – Poetry Interpretation, Sadie Gravel – Original Oratory, Sammi Knepper – Poetry Interpretation, Madeleine Lange in Original Oratory, and Danejia Lobdell in Prose Interpretation and Storytelling. In addition, Danejia Lobdell, in both of her events, and Madeleine Lange earned All State Performing Honors due to their outstanding performances. Danejia and Madeleine will perform at the IHSSA Individual Events All State Festival on March 27th at UNI. Congratulations to both of them as well as the entire team on a great season!
