Teachers have a big impact on students’ lives. In an effort to honor them for “making a difference”, the National Education Association (NEA) observes National Teacher Day on the Tuesday of the first full week in May.
Providing our students a quality education in a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment takes teamwork and therefore Western Dubuque Community School District recognizes this first full week in May as an appreciation week for the entire staff. As employees in the educational field, we are all role models for our students. We have a common goal of working together to ensure our schools are the best they can be for our students.
