Two teams of students from Drexler Middle Intermediate School in Farley participated in the First LEGO League competition that was held in Dubuque on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Roosevelt Middle School.This year’s theme was, “HydroDynamics.” The students competed in four challenges: project, robot missions, robot design, and core values.
Each team’s project had to relate to the human water system. They came up with a problem related to the theme and then designed an innovative solution.
The students had a great day and were glad to have the opportunity to participate in this wonderful event. The students and coaches would like to thank all of the parents, the DMIS administration and staff, the organizers of the Dubuque FLL tournament, Western Dubuque, and John Deere for making it possible for them to participate in this great activity
