On Friday, November 24, Cascade High School and Western Dubuque High School will compete in a girls and boys basketball scrimmage to raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society.
The girls varsity teams plays at 5:00 p.m. and the boys varsity teams play at 7:00 p.m.
Please support our cause by coming out for this exciting event. The proceeds from the game on November 24th will all go to the Iowa chapter of the American Cancer society. We have done a great job with this joint effort in the past. For the last 8 years both schools have had players and student councils raise money for this cause. One year, we received second place from the State and a check for $500 to go to the Cancer society along with the money we raised.
This is a very worthy cause as we are all touched by cancer. Thank you for helping us make this a great effort.
