Tech Thursday
If you answered, "WorldWideWeb", you are correct!

Tim Berners-Lee invented the first web browser and WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) HTML editor that was called WorldWideWeb.  He later renamed it Nexus so there wouldn't be confusion between technologies.  Thank goodness he named it WorldWideWeb because he was thinking about calling it The Mine of Information and The Information Mesh !

The first successful build of the browser was finished on December 25, 1990 with the source code released in April 1993.  Sadly, the browser only survived until mid-January, 1994.
