Tip Tuesday
What should you do when your child receives a poor grade?

First, talk to your child calmly about the grade. Does your child understand why the poor grade was given? Next, ask the teacher to suggest things your child needs to do to improve. Ask if there are ways you can help and find out when extra help (i.e. study tables) are available. Lastly, develop a plan with your child on how to improve the grade (more study time, less TV and/or electronics time, etc.).
