Description: Inviting members of the community to educate members on their agriculture-related careers. 
Activity: Career Guest Speakers/Exploration

Goal(s): Assist students in finding a suitable career path by speaking with local community members. Provide students an opportunity to discover new passions and unfamiliar areas of study. Give agricultural professionals a chance to build relationships with the community’s youth.

Healthy Lifestyle

Citizenship

Goal(s): Gather support from local businesses, to get all the prizes donated. Use equipment the chapter already owns or borrow anything else needed. Recruit 10 members to assist with the tractor pull, to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.

Environmental

Description: Clean up trash on a 2-mile stretch of Old Highway Road with FFA members.

Goal(s): Clean up 2 miles of highway Involve at least one other club to create competition. Complete the clean-up in 3 hours.

Human Resources

Description: Organize a milk drive to donate 50 gallons of milk to a local charity for distribution amongst needy members of the community.

Goal(s): Partner with a local grocery store to purchase 50 gallons of milk at cost. Transport the milk to Resources Unite for distribution Involve 10 non-officer members in the event.

Agriculture Literacy

Goal(s): Gather FFA members willing to be interviewed for the video to share their experiences. Keep the video engaging with pictures, interviews, an ag room tour, and music. Send the video to middle school administration to show to students.

Safety

Description: Teach elementary students the importance of farm safety.

Goal(s): Educate young community members on how to be safe around farm equipment, livestock, and various aspects of the farm. Provide education on at least 4 topics regarding agricultural safety. Ensure that the community’s youth leave the event feeling more confident in their safety procedures on the farm.

Support Group

Description: Give back to the farmers in our area during the spring or fall seasons. Fill up five-gallon buckets full of food, drinks, and other miscellaneous products to make their day better and to show our support of the community. 
Activity: Sponsor Feed the farmers

Goal(s): Give back to the community. Build relationships with potential supporters. Advertise local businesses and our chapter.
