- Clarke College - Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and an Instructional Strategist I endorsement
- St. Ambrose University & Loras College - Master’s Degree is in Educational Leadership and Supervision of Special Education
Teaching History:
- 7 years in Special Education in Western Dubuque Community School District
- 11 years in 2nd grade at Farley Elementary
