After student teaching at both Drexler Middle School and Western Dubuque High School, Ms. Schmidt began formally teaching for the district as the 5th/6th grade band teacher for Peosta Elementary, Cascade Elementary, Cascade Jr/Sr High, and Aquin Catholic. Ms. Schmidt also teaches Pre-K music and is the show band director for the Western Dubuque 5th Avenue Show Choir.
Her favorite activities include playing video games, spending time with family/friends, and PRACTICING!
