° ALL IOWA OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP
Award:  Not determined yet
Deadline:  Completion of the FAFSA by March 1st
 Must be an Iowa resident and attend an eligible Iowa college or university.  Be a first-time college freshman in the fall of 2019.  Enroll for a least 3 semester hours (or the trimester or quarter equivalent) in a program leading to an undergraduate degree.  Complete the FAFSA and Iowa Financial Aid Application by March 1 for priority consideration.  Have an eligible Expected

DUBUQUE AREA LABOR-MANAGEMENT COUNCIL EDUCATION & SKILLED TRADE SCHOLARSHIPS
Award:  Several $1,000 Scholarships
Deadline: May 14, 2021
 
Applicants must intend to become employed in either Dubuque, JoDaviess, or Grant counties following completion of their education program.   Must be a immediate family member of individuals who are members of unions or who work for employers belonging to the DALMC, corporate sponsors of the program, military that have been honorably discharged.  Also, members of the Tech WORKS program that will complete all the steps of the program by the end of your senior year and students that have completed at least three Project Lead the Way courses.  One letter is required to document conduct and attendance history.   Two letters of recommendation.  Grade point average is not considered ("B" & "C" students are encouraged to apply).  Applications available in the Counseling Office or you can print one off here:  DALMC scholarship-education-application-2021.pdf / 2nd round 2021 Skilled Trade Scholarship Application.pdf



° ELEVATE MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS SCHOLARSHIP
Award:  $500 Scholarship

° FAITH HOPE AND LOVE JESUS, INC. COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP
Award: $500 Scholarship

° IOWA STATE UNVERSITY BETA SIGMA PSI LUTHERAN FRATERNITY
Award:  3 ~ $2,000 Scholarships and 1 ~ $1,000 Scholarship
Deadline:  First round -January 5, 2021, Second round - March 20, 2021, Third round - July 1, 2021

Dates Open:  Oct. 19 - Feb 26
Award:  30 - $2,000 scholarships plus $500 to each recipient's high school
Requirements:  Register online and then follow emailed instructions to complete two online components and a related assessment.  Essays may be required as a tiebreaker.


° LAST DOLLAR SCHOLARSHIP
Award:  Covers any remaining gap between federal and state grants/scholarships and tuition and qualified fees 
Deadline:  TBD

New High School Graduates who enroll in a qualified program of study full-time or enroll in an eligible program part-time along with an approved work-based learning program for the fall immediately following high school graduation, apply for all other available state and federal grants and scholarships, and meet ongoing requirements.  Eligible institutions are Iowa community colleges or accredited private colleges in Iowa that offer qualified programs of study and that agree to provide student services (including orientation and academic and career advising) and to facilitate the assignment of a volunteer mentor if a student requests one.  Because this list is based on job demand, it might change from year to year. Award: Free tuition for families whose income is $50,000 or less annually
Deadline:  Must complete the FAFSA prior to July 1st and apply for admission 

Must be a high school senior and be admitted as a new freshman to Mt. Mercy and reside all four years on Mt. Mercy's campus during the academic year.  Participate in Mt. Award:  One $1,500 scholarship
