ALL IOWA OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP
Award:  Not determined yet
Deadline:  Completion of the FAFSA by March 1st

 Must be an Iowa resident and attend an eligible Iowa college or university.  Be a first-time college freshman in the fall of 2023 or spring 2024 semesters.  Enroll for a least 3 semester hours (or the trimester or quarter equivalent) in a program leading to an undergraduate degree.  Complete the FAFSA and Iowa Financial Aid Application by March 1 for priority consideration.  Have an eligible Expected 

Family Contribution (EFC) on the 2023-24 FAFSA (For reference the 2022-23 eligible EFC was $0-$9,966).  



THE BEAUTY + WELLNESS SCHOLARSHIP FOR WOMEN
Award:  $1,000 scholarship
Deadline:  Quarterly Deadlines:  January 1, March 31st, June 20th, and September 30th every year

IOWA STUDENT LOAN

**Iowa Financial Know-How Challenge:  Senior Scholarship
Dates Open:  Nov. 1 - March 31
Award:  25 - $2,000 scholarships plus $500 to each recipient's high school
Requirements:  Register online and then follow emailed instructions to complete two online components and a related assessment.  Essays may be required as a tiebreaker.  Start at:  www.IowaStudentLoan.org/SeniorScholarship




LAST DOLLAR SCHOLARSHIP
Award:  Covers any remaining gap between federal and state grants/scholarships and tuition and qualified fees 
Deadline:  TBD

New High School Graduates who enroll in a qualified program of study full-time or enroll in an eligible program part-time along with an approved work-based learning program for the fall immediately following high school graduation, apply for all other available state and federal grants and scholarships, and meet ongoing requirements.  Eligible institutions are Iowa community colleges or accredited private colleges in Iowa that offer qualified programs of study and that agree to provide student services (including orientation and academic and career advising) and to facilitate the assignment of a volunteer mentor if a student requests one.  Because this list is based on job demand, it might change from year to year. Students whose programs are removed from the list will still be eligible for the Last-Dollar Scholarship until they complete their credentials or leave school, as long as they meet all other eligibility criteria.

MOUNT MERCY UNIVERSITY CATHERINE MCAULEY SCHOLARSHIP
Award: Free tuition for families whose income is $50,000 or less annually
Deadline:  Must complete the FAFSA prior to July 1st and apply for admission 

Must be a high school senior and be admitted as a new freshman to Mt. Mercy and reside all four years on Mt. Mercy's campus during the academic year.  Participate in Mt. NICC SCHOOL BASED SCHOLARSHIPS

OPPU ACHIEVERS SCHOLARSHIP
Award:  $2,500 Scholarship
Deadline:  Four times per year; September 30, December 31, March 31, and June 30

IOWA HEALTH CARE ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

Award: 9 - $2,000 Scholarships

Deadline:   May 31, 2023

 

You must be a high school senior and enrolled in a certified nursing assistant (CNA), licensed practical nurse (LPN), registered nurse (RN) or Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) program for the 2023-2024 academic year. IOWA STATE UNVERSITY BETA SIGMA PSI LUTHERAN FRATERNITY

Award:  3 ~ $2,000 Scholarships and 1 ~ $1,000 Scholarship

Deadline:  First round - February 5, 2023, Second round – April 2, 2023, Third round - July 2, 2023
