Led WDHS to the first state title in school history with a 32-11 record.  Team captain was 9-2 as a pitcher with a win and ND in the state tournament.  Batted clean up hitting .500 during the state tournament.  Strong defensive 3B when not pitching.  Both pitching losses in 2022 were to ranked 4A opponents.

G-shark was a 1st Team All State 1B in class 3A.  Batted 5th for the Bobcats and helped lead WD to its first state championship.  Hit .432 with 7 HR 18 2B and 51 RBI's.  Strong defensive 1B with a .982 fielding %.  Had a walk off 2B in the state quarterfinals.

Isaac was a first team all state 3A pitcher in 2022.  He went 8-0 with a 1.75 ERA and beat 8 ranked teams.  He won the substate final and state championship game to help WDHS win their first state title in baseball.  In 2023 Isaac helped WDHS win the powerful MVC Valley Division and was named player of the year in the conference.  He also won the substate final and state championship game again to lead WDHS to it's second straight state title in 2023.  He was 8-3 with all 3 losses to ranked 4A teams and hit .430 with 19 2B's and 40 RBI's.  19 2B's is third most in school history.  Isaac was selected for the IHSBCA All Star Series, was a Super Team selection, captain of the 3A All-State team, and was selected as the Player of the Year in Iowa for 2023. Caleb Klein was a third team all state CF in 2022 and hit .414 with 9 2B's, 7 3B's, and 1 HR in 2023.  7 3B's currently ranks second all time in school history.  In 2023 Caleb was 1st team all conference (MVC), 1st team All District  (3A NE) and 1st Team All-State OF.  Caleb was selected for the IHSBCA All Star Series.
