Hello! My name is Amanda Klaas. I am the principal at Farley Elementary. My husband and our three boys live in Farley.
I have been in education since 2008 when I started out as a middle school teacher. I taught a variety of subjects while teaching seventh and eighth grade for 3 years with Fort Dodge Community Schools and 4 years at Drexler Middle School here in Western Dubuque. I then stepped into instructional coaching position within the district for 8 years where I served Cascade and Dyersville Elementary. This is my second year as serving as principal at Farley Elementary.
I am incredibly proud of this opportunity to serve the students, staff and community of Farley Elementary. I look forward to the opportunities and learning in the upcoming school year.
