Our At-Risk Coordinator collaborates with students, families, and various agencies to address and prevent truancy, dropouts, at-risk behaviors, criminal activities, and tardiness.
When referrals are made by school personnel, area agencies, parents, or students, our team works collaboratively to provide consistent guidance and resolve issues that may hinder a student's success. The At-Risk Coordinator serves as a crucial link between the schools and community agencies, ensuring students receive the necessary support to overcome challenges.
Students enrolled in any school within the Western Dubuque district are eligible for At-Risk services. Through a range of interventions, the At-Risk Coordinator offers information and guidance to students and their families, facilitating greater educational success. In certain situations, external service providers may be involved to offer additional support. The At-Risk Coordinator can assist in accessing these resources to ensure students and families receive the appropriate services they need.
