Multi-Cultural Gender-Fair Goals: District stakeholders have contributed to our commitment to multi-cultural and gender-fair education. Goals established include:

  • Encouraging students to demonstrate self-discipline and make decisions that lead to safe, healthy, and productive choices.

  • Cultivating a curriculum that promotes lifelong learning and respects human diversity, addressing the needs of all students.

  • Promoting acceptance and appreciation of human diversity, enhancing students' ability to actively participate in an evolving multicultural society.

Equity Coordinator Responsibilities: Our Equity Coordinator oversees:

  • Knowledge and implementation of Title IX, Section 504, Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and relevant state laws.

  • Establishment and maintenance of board policies and grievance procedures to ensure equity.

  • Annual dissemination of non-discrimination policies, harassment/bullying/hazing policies, and grievance procedures to all stakeholders.

  • Training for staff and students on their rights and responsibilities under these laws.

  • Mediation of conflicts and facilitation of civil rights grievance procedures to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
