Returning Substitute Training and Reference Information

Substitute Teachers, Paraprofessionals, and Clerical Staff

All substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and clerical staff are required to complete WDCSD Title IX Training and Bloodborne Pathogens Training annually. These trainings can be accessed by clicking on the link to Training E below. This link will take you to the AEA Online Learning System where you will complete the trainings.

When working through the Title IX Training you will be asked to enter an email address (please use your personal email address). Once you have completed Training E, please send an email to Abby.Davidshofer@wdbqschools.org to alert her that you are ready to sub again.

Substitute Food Service

All substitutes interested in working in the food service department will need to complete WDCSD Title IX Training, Bloodborne Pathogens Training, Right to Know Training, and Chapter 103 Training. These trainings can be accessed by clicking on the link to Training B below. This link will take you to the AEA Online Learning System where you will complete the trainings.

When working through the Title IX Training you will be asked to enter an email address (please use your personal email address). Once you have completed Training B, please send an email to Abby.Davidshofer@wdbqschools.org to alert her that you are ready to sub again.

Substitute Bus and Van Drivers

All substitutes interested in working as a bus/van driver will need to complete WDCSD Title IX Training, Bloodborne Pathogens Training, and Right to Know Training. These trainings can be accessed by clicking on the link to Training B below. This link will take you to the AEA Online Learning System where you will complete the trainings.

Substitute Custodians

All substitutes interested in working as a custodian will need to complete WDCSD Title IX Training, Bloodborne Pathogens Training, and Right to Know Training. These trainings can be accessed by clicking on the link to Training C below. This link will take you to the AEA Online Learning System where you will complete the trainings.

When working through the Title IX Training you will be asked to enter an email address (please use your personal email address). Once you have completed Training C, please send an email to Abby.Davidshofer@wdbqschools.org to alert her that you are ready to sub again.

Mandatory Reporter Training

All substitutes for the district are required to complete The Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training. Once completed, this certificate is valid for three (3) years. If you need to take this training for the first time, or you need to renew your expiring certificate, click on the AEA Online Learning System link below and register for Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training (2024 Version). Please email rick.colpitts@wdbqschools.org when you have completed the training.
