The Western Dubuque County Community School District is pleased to introduce the Board of Education. Following the November election, Chad Ostwinkle joins the Board as its newest member, bringing fresh perspective and a strong commitment to serving our students, staff, and families. Voters also re-elected Mike Rea, who begins his third term and continues to offer valuable experience and steady leadership.

This year’s Board officers include Jessica Pape, serving as Board President, and Kari Krogman, serving as Vice President. They are joined by board members Jody Willging, Mike Rea, and Chad Ostwinkle—each playing a vital role in guiding the district’s strategic direction.

Their leadership influences long-range planning, student achievement, fiscal responsibility, facilities, policy, and the overall educational experience within Western Dubuque Schools.

We are grateful for their dedication, service, and steady commitment to ensuring opportunities for all students. The district looks forward to the continued partnership between the Board, administration, and community as we strive to be Better Every Day.
