The Cascade Cougar softball team is State Bound! With an impressive postseason run, the Cougars have officially qualified for the Iowa Class 2A State Softball Tournament, continuing a tradition of excellence and resilience that makes the entire Western Dubuque community proud.
Cascade will take the field on Tuesday, July 22 at 3:00 PM to face West Lyon in the opening round of the tournament. The game will be played on the Iowa Central Field at the Harlan Rogers Sports Complex in Fort Dodge—a premier setting for one of the state’s most exciting weeks in high school athletics. This Cougar team has shown grit, teamwork, and determination all season long, and their ticket to Fort Dodge is well deserved.
