
Last week our fourth graders traveled to the University of Dubuque to participate in the Go The Distance event. This event is designed for students to participate in physical fitness and sportsmanship with all fourth graders from the district. #wdbqschools

Congratulations to our 5th grade band students who performed solos at Sole & Ensemble Contest on Tuesday at Drexler Middle School. McCartney, Claire, Maya, Melody, Nora and Natalie all performed a solo and received superior and highly superior ratings. Way to go! #wdbqschools

May 15 – Last day for seniors
May 16 – Graduation practice for seniors
May 21 – Last day for 3-day preschool (1-hour early dismissal)
May 22 – Last day for 4-day preschool
May 23 – Last day for TK–11th grade students (2-hour early dismissal)

We finished up with our Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress, ISASP, testing in our 3rd - 5th grade. These tests are given once a year to show student performance in the areas of reading, writing, language, math and science. Students were well prepared with their test preparation, morning activities, and positive note! Way to work hard! #wdbqschools

Last week the Kindergarten students enjoyed learning about cowboys and cowgirls. They ended the week by dressing up and riding the horses they made earlier in the week. They had so much fun!
