Seniors it is voter registration week! If you will be 18 by November and have not yet registered to vote, you will have the opportunity to do in Bobcat Time tomorrow! Make sure to bring your drivers license with you to class. Actively participating in your democracy is cool! Join the cool kids and register to vote tomorrow!
Attention students! Want to get involved and make a difference next year? Join Student Council!
There are three ways to participate: class representatives (open to all grades), class officers, and student body officers (open to next year’s juniors and seniors). Pick up an application in the main office now. Forms are due Friday, February 20th. Step up and let your voice be heard!
Service learning is asking for donated formal attire such as prom dresses, men’s formal wear, and men and women's formal shoes. Donating new or gently used formal attire will help students around our community attend prom. Dresses can be dropped off in the main office. By donating formal attire, you are helping reduce financial stress for families and giving students the chance to feel confident and included in a fun night. Your generosity can help turn prom into a positive and memorable experience for everyone.
The Exploring Program has an upcoming career exploration opportunity for students interested in architecture, design, or engineering, beginning March 25th. The cost to participate is $57. Stop by the Counseling Office for more information!
Seniors: If you are graduating at the end of Trimester 2, please stop by the Counseling Office to see Becky before the last day of the trimester.
Attention Bobcat Nation! The Battle of the Bobcats is coming March 9th–13th, and the first challenge for your grade is simple: buy a shirt! The Western Dubuque March Madness shirt store is now open through 1800TSHIRTS. Even better—$2 from every shirt sold will be donated to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Shirts must be ordered by Monday, February 23rd at 11:59 PM so don’t wait and order yours today. You can order online using the link: https://1800tshirts.chipply.com/wdmarchmadness/ or scan the QR codes on the flyers around school. Get your shirt, support a great cause, and let’s show our Bobcat pride!
Art Club is this Thursday after school until 4:15 in Mrs. Urbain’s room. Come make some art!
