May 15 – Last day for seniors
May 16 – Graduation practice for seniors
May 21 – Last day for 3-day preschool (1-hour early dismissal)
May 22 – Last day for 4-day preschool
May 23 – Last day for TK–11th grade students (2-hour early dismissal)

Cascade Elementary serves Pre-K through 5th grade students with an enrollment of approximately 310 children from Cascade and surrounding areas, including Temple Hill, Fillmore, and Bernard.
CES earned Exceptional status on the 2019-2020 Iowa School Performance Profile, one of only 25 schools statewide to receive this honor. Additionally, Cascade Elementary has been recognized as High Performing three times in the past four years.
The building features 15 regular education classrooms, dedicated spaces for special education, reading intervention, art, music, physical education, English Learner instruction, a media center, and more, with expansions over the years to meet growing needs.
CES is located just three blocks east of downtown Cascade, a small and supportive community of about 2,300 residents.

Preschool Pre-registration for the 2025-2026 school year begins Monday, January 6, 2025, at 12:00 PM.
To enhance your chances of securing a spot before the official registration window opens on February 10, complete the pre-registration form on the Early Childhood page of the District website:

Spots will be filled based on the time stamp of the submitted form. A district official will follow up with next steps.
