A huge THANK YOU to St. Mark Youth Enrichment for your incredible partnership with Dyersville Elementary. We are so grateful for your commitment to providing meaningful opportunities for our students and helping make summer a time of learning, friendship, and fun! ❤️🐾

Greetings Dyersville Elementary Families,
We hope your summer is off to a good start. Here is a short summer newsletter with some fun summer activities and a few important dates for the upcoming school year.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Hillebrand

The students included thoughtful notes, tasty treats, and even created word puzzles to help brighten their days. 😊
We recently received these pictures and videos thanking our students for their kindness, generosity, and support. It was so special for our students to see the impact their efforts had on those serving far from home. 💙⭐
A huge thank you to our military members for their service and sacrifice, and to our 4th graders for showing what it means to be Bobcat Strong through acts of kindness and gratitude! 🐾❤️🤍💙

Greetings Families,
After reviewing the weather forecast today, the PTO, Mr. Lawler, and I have made the decision to postpone the Color Run until Tuesday, May 19th. 🌦️➡️🌈
The schedule for each grade level will remain the same. If we need to make any location changes due to standing water, that information will be communicated on Monday.
We are excited to see everyone on Tuesday for a fun-filled event! 🎉 Thank you for your flexibility and understanding. We hope this advance notice gives you and your family members time to adjust schedules if needed.
Thank you again for your continued support — we can’t wait for an amazing Color Run! 🖤❤️

🎉🌈 We are just days away from our Annual Color Run, and we couldn’t be more excited! 🌈🎉
As of now, the Color Run is scheduled for Monday, May 18th. We will be monitoring the weather closely, and if we need to delay the event, it will take place on Tuesday with the same schedule. ☀️🌦️
Students will be running on the soccer fields, and families are welcome to bring lawn chairs and sit at the top of the hill to watch all the colorful fun! 💙💚💛❤️💜
Thank you for your continued support — we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone! 🎨✨
We hope to see you there!

Paraprofessionals, you are the unsung heroes of education. Your patience, flexibility, and unwavering compassion make a difference in ways that often go unseen—but never unappreciated. You step in wherever needed, lift students up when they struggle, celebrate their victories (big and small), and help create a safe, supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
From guiding learning and building confidence to offering a steady presence each day, your impact is powerful and lasting. Our classrooms simply wouldn’t be the same without you.
Thank you for everything you do—for our students, our staff, and our school community. We are so grateful for you today and every day! ❤️🐾🤍

Join us on April 11 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Silkers as we collect non perishable food items.
Most needed items include canned vegetables, beans and soup, rice, pasta, cereal, peanut butter, snacks, microwaveable meals, and cash donations.
When we come together, we take care of our own.

Dyersville Elementary students, families, relatives, friends, and neighbors all came together for Round 2 of Delaney’s March Madness Scooping Challenge—and what stood out most had nothing to do with the final scoop count. 🍦✨
Tonight was about connection. ❤️ It was about seeing our Bobcat Community show up, laugh together 😂, support one another 🙌, and create memories that go far beyond any competition. Whether behind the counter scooping or cheering from the sidelines 📣, the energy in the room was something truly special. 🖤🤍
I am so grateful to our incredible staff for jumping in, working hard, and having fun (and definitely getting a little workout in along the way! 🍦💪🔥). You brought the energy and the smiles! ❤️
And most importantly, THANK YOU to our families and supporters—you are the heart of everything we do. ❤️🖤🤍 Your support, your presence, and your belief in our school mean more than words can say.
Win or lose, tonight was a powerful reminder that what truly matters is the strength, pride, and connection within our Bobcat Community. 🐾❤️🖤🤍
With sincere gratitude,
Mrs. Hillebrand ❤️
