Congratulations to David Pettera, named the Mississippi Division Bowler of the Year, and Coach Grant Kramer, selected as the Mississippi Division Coach of the Year!
David, a junior, led the Bobcats with an impressive 224.80 average, helping secure the divisional championship and powering the team back to the state tournament for the 10th time in program history. The Bobcats capped the season with a 5th-place finish at state in Waterloo!
Under Coach Kramer’s leadership, this program continues to compete at a championship level while representing Western Dubuque with pride.
We are incredibly proud of David, Coach Kramer, and our entire WDHS bowling program. 🎳

We invite every student, family, and community member to join us in picking up a book today. Visit your school or local library! 📚

Classrooms were transformed into cozy reading spaces as students used flashlights to dive into their favorite books and discover new stories. 📚
Thank you to our staff and families for supporting a love of reading in our schools!

Our prekindergarten students celebrated Teddy Bear Day as part of our February math theme at Peosta Elementary. Students brought a favorite bear from home and enjoyed sharing about their special friend with classmates!
Throughout the day, students measured their bears using manipulatives, weighed and compared them, drew pictures, and sorted them into groups. They also used blocks to build cozy homes for their bears and ended the day with a few extra snuggles during rest time.
It was a fun and engaging way to build math skills through hands-on learning! 🧸

It’s been wonderful to see our students recognized and celebrated, and to watch them begin their day alongside someone special. These simple moments are making a big impact!

Students rotated through fun, themed activities that encouraged creativity, collaboration, and skill-building. It was a joyful day filled with smiles and meaningful learning. 💕

Mr. Steffen and Mrs. Bryte visited to share information about registration and what students can expect in middle school. Students asked thoughtful questions and are excited about the new opportunities that await them!
