Ceramics students in Ms. Keen's class are working on their Ornate Coil Projects. Students utilize the pugmill and extruder to create uniform coils, then they create designs in their vessels with the coils. Once they finished their vessels, students had the chance to sandbox on the throwing wheel — experiencing it without direct instruction to engage them deeper in their learning. Great things are happening in 6th grade! Mr. Urbain's class created a post office where peers can "mail" a praise coupon to another peer for a positive moment that week.
