This morning, our school came together for a heartfelt Veterans Day assembly to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. We were honored to welcome members of Legion Post 528, whose presence made the event even more meaningful.
Students showed their respect through songs performed by our choir & band, speeches and moments of silence. Thank you to all who served—and continue to serve—for your courage, sacrifice, and dedication.

Congratulations to Cascade High School sophomore, Rylan Smith as she has been selected to perform the National Anthem at the IHSAA State Football Tournament. Rylan was selected out of 41 student submissions from across the state. She will perform for the Class 8-Man Championship game on Thursday November 20th at the UNI Dome. This is the second time Rylan has been selected to perform the National Anthem at a state sanctioned event. #CHSCougs #wdbqschools
