Yesterday, KCRG was on campus to film for their "Student of the Month" segment, Cascade Sophomore Rylan Smith! The story is set to air on Tuesday, September 30 in their Morning Newscast that goes from 4:30 am - 7 am, their Midday newscast on from 11 to noon, and again during their 4pm newscast. Great things are happening in 6th grade! Mr. Urbain's class created a post office where peers can "mail" a praise coupon to another peer for a positive moment that week. Mr. Urbain empties the mailbox on Friday and reads them to the class, giving the praise coupon to the student receiving it. Keep up the great work students! #CHScougs #wdbqschools

Please note the special bell schedule with an all-school assembly on Monday at 8:05am in the auditorium. We will share the expectations designed to support every student’s success throughout the school year. Students will pick up their computers from their Cougar Time teacher following the assembly.

We are pleased to announce that Keira Milam has accepted the position of Head Dance Coach and will begin the process of preparing the 2025-2026 dance team in the coming week. Any student who is interested in joining dance should attend try-outs on Thursday, August 28th from 4:00 - 5:30 in the Old Gym. The purpose of re-doing try-outs is to give her a deeper understanding of the skills, etc. the team has to best prepare choreography for the upcoming season.
