Each month a selected group of teachers, paras, and other staff members in the building nominate a student that they feel is showing qualities of that particular month's "theme". Congratulations to our DMS Mock Trial teams who competed in the Iowa Middle School Mock Trial regional tournament in Waterloo last Friday, November 21. Shout-out to the following students from each team who received the following accolades. DMS Team A for the Plaintiff, Outstanding Attorney- Lexi Scherbring and Outstanding Witnesses- Azaela Frith and Emma Ware. For the Defense, Outstanding Attorney- Azaela Frith and Outstanding Witness- Caeleigh Weber-McKeon. DMS Team B for the Plaintiff, Outstanding Attorney- Jocelyn Bussan-Kluesner and Outstanding Witnesses- Chase McGovern and Lila Sroka. Yesterday was Veterans Day, and Drexler had an assembly to celebrate and honor our veterans! We are getting to the end of Trimester 1.  This trimester during our art classes, students worked very hard on fun projects.
