Way to show great leadership, Ahnya!
In honor and remembrance of 9/11 yesterday, Mrs. Haber's 7th grade Social Studies students did a silent gallery walk where students examined different artifacts from 9/11. Some of those artifacts included: pictures of the crash sites, a first-hand story from a firefighter, President's Bush's speech, videos of survivor and victims' families' stories. The kids were super engaged the entire time and had lost of great questions and stories!

We had a great first week back at Drexler!
We wrapped up the week on Friday with a fun and energetic "Welcome Back" all-school assembly. It was a wonderful way to bring everyone together, celebrate the start of the new year, and build community spirit.
A huge shout-out to our amazing custodial staff for having the school looking incredible and in tip-top shape! We truly appreciate all the hard work that went into getting everything ready for our students and staff. 🧹✨

This week, students in 8th grade made bath bombs in Science class. Students were provided with the materials for the lab. After they are made, students tested the bath bombs the next day. This helped students learn about a chemical reactions and how it happens. After that, students will record what they saw happen and how it happened. Something people may record are: how much fizz came out or how long did the color last it the water.

Drexler is excited to now pair with Bound for athletics and extra curricular activities registration! Registration for the 2025-26 school year is now open.
All students interested in participating in sports and/or activities, including Band, Color Guard, Choir, Archery, Quiz Bowl, and Drama must be registered in Bound. Please refer to the attached flyer for the registration link and step-by-step instructions.
