PTO

The Bernard Elementary PTO meets on the second Tuesday of each month from September through May. Our meetings are at 6:00 pm in the school gym and usually last about 30 minutes. In the meetings we discuss and plan upcoming PTO events, fundraisers that we would like to do, any teacher requests for classrooms and have a brief update from Mr. Wendler on what is going on in the school. The Bernard Elementary PTO members this year are Kristen Miles, Christy Bergfeld, Diana Cook, and Charissa Vorwald. If anyone has any questions or ideas they would like to share please contact Kristen Miles at [email protected] or join us for a meeting.

Some of the school events that we hold or help support are the Harvest Hoedown, Schwan’s, Veteran’s Day Celebration, Celebrating Home, the Book Fair (fall & spring), the Spring Field Trip, and Fillmore Fun Day. Our funds raised are used to purchase any classroom materials teachers may request, books for the classrooms, busing for field trips, and supplies for Fillmore Fun Day.

With district approval, our organization raises funds and seeks community support in providing activities and resources for our students.
