Each month, our school board meetings feature a building highlight that showcases the incredible work happening across our district.
This month, Dyersville Elementary took the spotlight, sharing the vital role their Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO) plays in fostering connections between families, staff, and the school. Their presentation highlighted how this group exemplifies our District’s commitment to building satisfying and engaging partnerships with families and communities.
Thank you to the Dyersville Elementary PTO for your dedication to enhancing the educational experience for students! #wdbqschools

We were honored to have Calvin Harris, Western Dubuque graduate and Chicago White Sox draft pick, as a guest server for our annual Thanksgiving Day meal! 🦃⚾
Our students loved interacting with him, getting autographs, and hearing his story. It was an inspiring opportunity for them to see how dedication to academics and athletics can truly pay off.
Thank you, Calvin, for being such a positive role model and giving back to our community. You’ve made this Thanksgiving meal extra special! 🍂🎉

As we reach the end of the first trimester, we're proud of all that our students and staff have accomplished in the first twelve weeks of school! In the WDCCSD, we're committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment that nurtures our students' social, emotional, and behavioral development. 9 out of 10 of our families already recognize these efforts, and we're striving to make it 10 out of 10 for all. Together, we continue to build a safe, welcoming, and growth-oriented district for every student. #wdbqschools
