Every Friday at DMS we have Bobcat Clubs. Today was our first week doing them. It’s a fun way to hang out with other people in the morning and try new things! Some of the clubs we have are Calligraphy, Kindness Club, Jokes, Board games, Photography, Diamond Art, Pickem Sports, and reading. There are many more fun clubs as well. The Western Dubuque Weekend Backpack Food Drive is coming up on Saturday, October 10, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Silker’s.
Donations of individually sized, kid friendly food items will help provide meals and snacks for Western Dubuque elementary students who need a little extra support over the weekend.
A big thank you to the Western Dubuque Lions Club and Epworth United Methodist Church for organizing this effort and supporting our students and families! ❤️🖤

Due to the warm weather today we wanted to let you know our plans for our after-school activities. Our football teams will only be doing walk-throughs with no pads tonight. Our volleyball teams are inside. All programs will be taking frequent water breaks. Cross-country will do a virtual practice tonight at home at later hours so they will go home right after school. Coach Jasper will send a message on Remind app with more details. We feel this is the best option today to continue to provide your child opportunities to get better at their sport and stay safe.
