For the past week, Drexler 7th grade students have been building roller coasters in science. This is a great project to teach students about kinetic and potentional energy. For this project, students get a limited amount of materials provided by the school, but their imagination is the limit, on what outside materials they can bring into use. Each roller coaster must consist of 2 hills, 1 loop, and the marble that goes down the roller coaster, must come to a complete stop. (by Reed, Gavin, Maddox, & Thomas) #drexlerms #wdbqschools

Due to anticipated high winds and blowing snow later today (Wednesday, January 21), Western Dubuque Schools will dismiss at 1:30 PM. THIS INCLUDES ALL AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES AT DREXLER.
We recognize this is less than ideal and appreciate your flexibility. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution to support the safety of students, staff, and families.
