At Drexler Middle School our students in P.E. enjoy learning the basics of pickleball, including serving, volleying, and movement on the court. Four baritone and tuba Drexler students attended their first Tuba Christmas at the University of Dubuque last Thursday!

What is Tuba Christmas you ask?
It is a beloved tradition started in 1974 by Harvey Phillips in New York City's Rockefeller Plaza as a tribute to his teacher, William J. Bell, who was born on Christmas Day. Hundreds of Tuba Christmas performances are held each year for all ages and skill levels, supporting the Harvey Phillips Foundation's mission to promote low brass music. #drexlerms #wdbqschools

Yesterday (Friday) at Drexler the students and teachers wore their favorite jerseys to school. This was a fun time for all the people who participated. They were able to show their dedication to all the teams and players they are fans of. The winners from Friday were Travis Harder, Aubree Lahr, and Ambrose Faulkner.
