We are getting to the end of Trimester 1.  This trimester during our art classes, students worked very hard on fun projects. Archers from grades 4-12 came together for Bobcat Archery Pre-Season Camp. Through the course of camp over 100 archers built on and enhanced archery skills, made new friends, and developed a stronger connection to each other and to our schools! Congratulations on our September and October Students of the Month! Each month a selected group of teachers, paras, and other staff members in the building nominate a student that they feel is showing qualities of that particular month's "theme". September's theme was "Positive Mindset" and October's theme is "Resilient". Congratulations to these students for being excellent leaders and wonderful role models to their peers! #drexlerms #wdbqschoools

On Monday, October 20th, our 8th grade class went to NICC to the Career Fair. They got a chance to explore jobs they may be interested in. They got a list of jobs to pick from such as art/theater, banking and finance, chef/ culinary, construction and more amazing jobs. They picked 5 of these jobs to explore, and they listened to a speaker talk about that specific job. Once returning to DMS, they also had more career exploration opportunities as well.  (by Torri, Tori, Karlee, and Avery)
