Throughout the last few weeks, the 7th graders have been working hard on their science fair projects. They started by choosing a topic they wanted to explore more of. They started testing and collecting data for their project. Once they had their data, they created a poster board with all their research and data. After they finished their poster board, the 7th graders presented their posterboards in the old gym on February 6th to family, other students, and friends. (by Addy, Addy, and Lily)

As Counselor Appreciation Week is coming to a close, we just want to again recognize Ms. Bryte, Mr. Steffen, and Mrs. Smith for all they do for Drexler Middle School! For the past week, Drexler 7th grade students have been building roller coasters in science. This is a great project to teach students about kinetic and potentional energy. For this project, students get a limited amount of materials provided by the school, but their imagination is the limit, on what outside materials they can bring into use. Each roller coaster must consist of 2 hills, 1 loop, and the marble that goes down the roller coaster, must come to a complete stop. (by Reed, Gavin, Maddox, & Thomas) #drexlerms #wdbqschools
