ROBERT D. BLUE SCHOLARSHIP
Deadline:  May 10th of each year
Award:  Scholarships range from $500 - $1,000
 
Must be a high school senior and planning to attend an Iowa College/University during the 2018-2019 school year.  Must write a 500-word essay on an individual from your community (not a family member) that has demonstrated the responsibilities of being a citizen.  Must provide two letters of recommendation.

Award:  $1,500 Scholarship
 
Must be a high school senior.  Must be attending any 2 year or 4 year accredited college or university as a full-time student.  Complete and submit the application form.  Must write a 1000 word or less essay on why Aging Matters to the applicant.

SUE BAUSCH MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP - LOCAL

Award:  Two - $1,000 Scholarships
 
Must be a high school senior and plan to continue your education at a college, university, community college, or trade school.  Must submit a 500 word essay addressing:  How has domestic violence impacted your life thus far?  and/or How do you anticipate taking a stand against domestic violence in the future?  Must submit one recommendation letter from a non-family member.

THE SLEEP JUDGE STATE OF SLEEP SCHOLARSHIP
Deadline: October 30th each year
Award:  One $1,500 scholarship
 
 Must be a high school senior, planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. or Canadian post-secondary institution and carry a minimum 3.00 GPA.  Must create a short video (no longer than 5 minutes) answering the question "How has technology affected our sleep for better or for worse?"
