° ALL IOWA OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP
Deadline:  Completion of the FAFSA by March 1st
Award:  Not determined yet
 
Must be an Iowa resident and attend an eligible Iowa college or university.  Be a first-time college freshman in the fall of 2019.  Enroll for a least 3 semester hours (or the trimester or quarter equivalent) in a program leading to an undergraduate degree.  Complete the FAFSA and Iowa Financial Aid Application by March 1 for priority consideration.  Have an eligible Expected Family Contribution (EFC) on the 2019-19 FAFSA (the 2018-19 eligible EFC was $0-$9,064).  Apply online at:   https://www.iowacollegeaid.gov/AllIowaOpportunityScholarship

° DIVINE WORD COLLEGE GOOD NEIGHBOR SCHOLARSHIP
Deadline:   Unknown
Award:  100% coverage of tuition, books and fees (minus any Pell Grant for which the student qualifies)
 
Must be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident.  Must have a 2.5 high school GPA and a 19 ACT score or 1000 SAT Score.  Ability to commute daily for classes (housing not provided).

° GRAND LODGE OF IOWA A.F. & A.M.
Award:  up to 60 ~ $2,000 scholarships
Deadline:  February 1, 2021

° HAGAN SCHOLARSHIP
Award:  500 Scholarships up to $48,000
Deadline:  November 15, 2020

Must be a high school senior with a GPA of 3.75 or above and ranked in the top 20% of your high school class.  Must enroll at an eligible four-year college or university.  Must work 240 hours in the twelve months prior to the start of each year of college. Must apply for eligible federal and state grants and your FAFSA EFC must not exceed $6,500.  Apply online at:  www.hsfmo.org

° HEISMAN HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP
Award:  100 Scholarships up to $5,000
Deadline:  October 20, 2020

Must be a high school senior with a GPA of 3.0 or above.  Must have participated in grades 9-11 in at least one sport recognized by the National Federation of State High School Association and sponsored by your school.  Apply online at:  https://heismanscholarship.com/

° THE HUGGABLE SUPERMOM SCHOLARSHIP

Dates open:  Sept. 8- Oct. 30
Award:  30 ~ $1,000 deposits into College Savings Iowa accounts
 Requirements:  Visit the new Parent Handbook guide for important college financing information and enter contact information to register
 
**Iowa Financial Know-How Challenge:  Senior Scholarship
Dates Open:  Oct. 19 - Feb 26
Award:  30 - $2,000 scholarships plus $500 to each recipient's high school
Requirements:  Register online and then follow emailed instructions to complete two online components and a related assessment.  Essays may be required as a tiebreaker.

Award:  $1,000 awarded to a WD student

° MOUNT MERCY UNIVERSITY CATHERINE MCAULEY SCHOLARSHIP
Deadline:  Must complete the FAFSA prior to July 1st and apply for admission 
Award: Free tuition for families whose income is $50,000 or less annually

Must be a high school senior and be admitted as a new freshman to Mt. Mercy and reside all four years on Mt. Mercy's campus during the academic year.  Participate in Mt. ° NICC SCHOOL BASED SCHOLARSHIPS

° NIKHI DESAI "PERSPECTIVE" SCHOLARSHIP

Award:  $1,000

° ROBERT D. BLUE SCHOLARSHIP
Deadline:  May 10th of each year
Award:  Scholarships range from $500 - $1,000
 
Must be a high school senior and planning to attend an Iowa College/University during the 2020-2021school year.  Must write a 500-word essay on an individual from your community (not a family member) that has demonstrated the responsibilities of being a citizen.  Must provide two letters of recommendation.  Apply online at:  www.rdblue.org
° THE SLEEP JUDGE STATE OF SLEEP SCHOLARSHIP
Deadline: October 30th each year
Award:  One $1,500 scholarship
 
 Must be a high school senior, planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. or Canadian post-secondary institution and carry a minimum 3.00 GPA.  Must create a short video (no longer than 5 minutes) answering the question "How has technology affected our sleep for better or for worse?"  Apply online at:  www.thesleepjudge.com
