Tuesday, May 22, “A” day

What’s for lunch today:  At lunch today we will be saluting our seniors who will be joining us for lunch for the last time at CHS.  Please allow the seniors to go to the front of the line where we will be serving Mandarin Orange Chicken and Rice in their honor, along with lots of extras.  We will have a special treat for all the seniors and wish you all well as you head out into the world of fast food!   The Cougar Kitchen invites you back for lunch whenever you are here, be amazing and don't forget the Cougar Lunch Ladies Love you ALL!

During Trimester 1 this year the Communications I class participated in Ditch the Distraction PSA Contest sponsored by several partners in roadway construction along with the Iowa DOT  The goal: create a PSA no longer than 30 seconds promoting awareness and/or warning against the dangers of driving while distracted. 
( see ditchthedistraction.com for more details).  The two groups who participated were both awarded for their PSA videos.  Earning Honorable Mention are:  Isaac DeLaRosa, Madison Gehl, Nicole McDermott, and Nora Noonan; and earning 3rd place honors are:  Ashley Kurt, Kate Manternach, and Robyn Takes.
